The Curious Case Of Slumlord David Nathan Snyder!

COVID-19 is here and its turning the country on its ass.  Millions are out of work, millions more wondering when it will come for them.  Restrictions are being placed where people can and can’t go across the country.  And while this may all be necessary it also has a lot of people and families struggling and wondering what to do.  Some of these people are small local business owners with mortgages to pay.  Some are even mom and pop landlords who are finding it difficult to afford the hit.  But some multi millionaires are exploiting this crisis in a cruel plot to make a quick buck at the expense of those who built up their business, their customers.

     Enter David Nathan Snyder.  David is a landlord in sunny Las Vegas, party Capitol of the world. David runs a company called Sun Chase Apartments, LLC. It actually seems like David has done pretty well for himself as he also owns a series of other buildings.  Just the type of guy you would think would be understanding and try to work with people in a time of crisis. Think again.

     This week David decided to put up notices around his properties with veiled threats of eviction if people don’t pay their rent.  He didn’t outright say it but he implied it (notice posted above).  He then goes on to suggest people get jobs at Wal Mart or Dominoes.  And if all else fails, David says to pay him the $1,200 check you get from the government.  The only money you have for who knows how long.

     One would maybe understand Davids thinking if he was hard pressed for cash himself.  After all, some landlords cannot afford such a hit and they are not in a position to negotiate with the banks.  So I decided to do a little digging.  Maybe David was a nice guy and just on hard times.  Maybe he didn’t have a safety net like so many of his tenants.  He couldn’t be so cruel and heartless as to not even offer to work with people if he didn’t genuinely need the money, right?

Unfortunately in Davids case he’s just a rich pompous used dirty douche nozzle.  David isn’t pressed for cash or struggling.  A further review into him showed he owned a mansion in both Las Vegas and San Diego of which combined are worth an estimated near five million dollars according to Zillow.  Anyone who can afford not one but two multi million dollar mansions should be able to afford to work with tenants who are having problems due to no fault of their own.  So David Snyder earns the title of slumlord of the day.  For his rich, arrogant, insensitivity that exemplifies exactly what is wrong with the world!  Here’s a photo of Mr. Snyder.  According to public records you can reach his company at 702-528-9641.
